@lisasaraa's TikTok video "🤯 My Brother Worked at KFC for 5 Years… He Taught Me the Secret to EXTRA CRISPY Chicken! 🍗🔥 🍗 Crispy Chicken Breast in Batter with Creamy Garlic Sauce Juicy chicken breast coated in a golden, crispy crust, pan-fried until perfectly crunchy and served with a delicious garlic sauce made with sour cream, mayonnaise, and pickles. This recipe is perfect for lunch, dinner, or a tasty snack! Ingredients For the chicken: • 1 chicken breast • 3 eggs • All-purpose flour, for the batter and coating • 2–3 tbsp water • Salt, to taste • Paprika, to taste • Mixed peppers, to taste • Vegetable oil, for frying For the garlic sauce: • 3 tbsp sour cream • 2 tbsp mayonnaise • 2 garlic cloves • 1 medium-sized pickled cucumber Step-by-Step Instructions 1. Prepare the chicken breast. Pat the chicken breast dry with a paper towel. Cut it into small, evenly sized pieces so that they cook evenly. 2. Prepare the batter. Crack 3 eggs into a deep bowl. Add salt, paprika, and mixed peppers to taste. Pour in 2–3 tablespoons of water and whisk everything together until well combined. Gradually add flour while mixing continuously until you get a thick, smooth batter without lumps that coats the chicken pieces well. 3. Coat the chicken in the batter. Add all the chicken pieces to the bowl with the batter. Mix thoroughly to make sure every piece is completely coated. Leave the chicken to rest in the batter for 15–20 minutes so it absorbs the flavors of the seasonings. 4. Coat the chicken in flour. Pour some flour onto a separate plate. Remove the chicken pieces from the batter one at a time and coat each piece in flour on all sides. Shake off any excess flour to create an even coating. 5. Fry the chicken. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer, leaving a little space between them. Fry for approximately 3–5 minutes on each side, depending on the size of the pieces, until golden brown and crispy. Make sure the chicken is fully cooked inside, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. 6. Prepare the creamy garlic sauce. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise. Peel the garlic and crush it using a garlic press. Grate the pickled cucumber or chop it into very small pieces. Add the garlic and pickled cucumber to the sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth and well combined. If desired, refrigerate the sauce for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to develop. 7. Serve and enjoy! Arrange the crispy chicken pieces on a serving plate and serve with the creamy garlic sauce. Dip each piece into the sauce before eating for an extra delicious flavor! Enjoy your meal! 🍗😋 #H#HomemadeChickenC#ChickenLoversF#FoodTokTikTokFood" has 682,387 views, 18,604 likes, 102 comments, 3,555 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
