Takedown and DMCA Policy

How to ask us to remove indexed material or an entire creator page — for copyright or for any other reason. Removal requests are free and we act on them quickly.

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Our approach

This site is an index of public information. We do not host, store or re-upload video or audio files, and we do not persist media URLs. Pages describe public TikTok entities using metadata and statistics; where playback is available, it is resolved from the source platform on demand. Even so, we take removal requests seriously and will remove or de-index material promptly when asked.

Two ways to request removal

  • Copyright takedown notice — for rights holders who believe material indexed on the site infringes their copyright (section 2 below).
  • Creator and entity removal — for creators or anyone acting for them who wants a profile, video, hashtag or sound page removed or de-indexed. You do not need a reason (section 4 below).

In all cases, the fastest route is email to [email protected]. To help us act quickly, please include the exact page URLs.

1. Where to send a copyright notice

Send copyright notices to the operator’s designated agent at [email protected]. The operator’s designated agent details, including postal contact and registration information, are published below.

2. What a copyright notice must include

To be effective, a copyright takedown notice should include all of the following:

  • a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them;
  • identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — the exact URLs on this site are ideal;
  • your name, address, telephone number and email address so we can contact you;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

If a notice is incomplete, we may ask for the missing information; if it is complete, we act on it promptly.

3. What happens after a notice

  • Acknowledgment: within 1 business day of receiving a complete notice.
  • Action: we remove or de-index the identified material within 72 hours of receiving a complete notice, and remove the URLs from our sitemaps.
  • Notification: where we have contact details for the affected party, we may notify them of the removal.

4. Creator and entity removal requests

If you are a creator — or acting for one — you can ask us to remove or de-index a profile, video, hashtag or sound page at any time, for any reason or no reason at all. We do not require a legal justification for this kind of request and we will not publish or publicise your request.

Email [email protected] from an address we can reach you at, with the exact page URLs. We verify that the request concerns the relevant entity, remove the page (or block it from indexing where removal is not technically possible), and exclude it from our sitemaps. We aim to complete these requests within 72 hours. The same steps, written for the person making the request, are on the removal request page.

Removal from this index does not affect the source platform; content you posted on TikTok remains subject to that platform’s own rules and controls.

5. Counter-notices

If material of yours was removed following a copyright notice and you believe the removal was mistaken or based on a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. A counter-notice should include your contact details, identification of the removed material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We forward valid counter-notices as required by applicable law.

6. Repeat infringement

This site does not accept user uploads, so it has no user-uploaded content to police. If we receive repeated valid notices about material from the same source, we will block that source or entity from the index rather than re-index it.

7. Designated agent

Designated agent for copyright notices: [email protected], tikmonkey.com. The operator will publish the agent’s postal contact details and U.S. Copyright Office registration information on this page before the site begins monetization.

8. Questions

If you are unsure whether a request belongs here, email [email protected] and we will help route it. Creators who want the short form can start at the removal request page. For general questions, see contact us or the about page; for how statistics are produced, see the methodology page.
