Peel the potatoes, place them in a pot of water, and boil until partially cooked. They should be slightly tender but still firm enough to grate without falling apart. 2. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. Then grate them using a coarse grater and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. 3. Grate the cheese using a coarse grater and add it to the grated potatoes. 4. Add the egg, 2 tablespoons of starch, salt, paprika, black pepper, and mixed pepper seasoning to taste. 5.
