Video insights

@theartcoach's TikTok video "Tap the link in my bio to start the drawing drills course Boxes are one of the most useful guidelines for keeping your drawings solid and in perspective. In this drawing exercise, I place each fish inside a simple box first. As the fish turns and swims through space, the box turns with it. Now I have a 3D map for lining up the head, fins, body, tail, and other features consistently in perspective. Instead of trying to guess where everything goes from the outside contour, the box gives you a structure to build on. This works far beyond drawing fish. Animals, vehicles, objects, figures, and countless other subjects can be simplified into boxes and forms before adding the details. Build the box. Place the features. Then find the contour." has 7,975 views, 430 likes, 6 comments, 11 shares in the public metrics captured by this index. That is an engagement rate of 5.61% (likes, comments and shares over views).
