Video insights

@theartcoach's TikTok video "Tap the link in my bio to start the drawing drills course. Try simplifying clouds into overlapping C-shapes. Vary the size and direction of those curves to build the larger cloud form, then use evenly spaced diagonal hatch marks to create the shading. Instead of placing those lines randomly, start each group of hatching along the curve of the individual cloud puff. This helps the value reinforce the rounded form you already established. You’re practicing shape design, line control, hatching, value, and form all in one drawing exercise. Every mark should have a job. Build the shape first. Then let your hatching describe it." has 8,538 views, 566 likes, 5 comments, 10 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
