@dreasmith08's TikTok video "A horrific mass murder-suicide in Erie, Pennsylvania, claimed the lives of nine victims—including young children and an unborn baby—after the family’s 45-year-old patriarch turned a firearm on his own household. On Friday evening, police were called to Perry Street following reports of active gunfire outside a residence. Two women were fatally shot on the street before the gunman retreated back inside the home. Following an intense standoff involving SWAT teams, drones, and robotic units, tactical officers breached the property and uncovered a devastating scene: two young children dead on the first floor, four adults in a stairwell, and the gunman deceased upstairs from a self-inflicted gunshot wound with the firearm next to his body. Authorities and relatives confirmed the 45-year-old shooter was the father and grandfather of the household. Among those killed were his pregnant daughter Angelina Stone, who was just days away from giving birth, her unborn baby, her 5-year-old son, her 1-year-old daughter Amari'anna, other family members, and a close female family friend. The coroner officially counted nine homicide victims in total, including the unborn child. Why did he do it? While law enforcement has not officially declared a final motive, Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah suggested an acute, deteriorating mental health crisis was likely at play. Relatives and longtime family acquaintances expressed utter disbelief, describing him as a loving grandfather and "a good guy" who had always put on a smiling face before things recently began "going downhill with everything" behind closed doors. Detectives are currently analyzing phones and electronic devices recovered from the scene to determine what triggered the final, sudden explosion of violence." has 4,773 views, 162 likes, 15 comments, 2 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
