@on_todays_bake's TikTok video "You all came at me with the long potato noodles/ worm as lots of u called it😂 so here is a visually appealing version Spicy Potato Noodle Balls Enjoy😅 Ingredients Potato noodles 2 medium potatoes 1 cup + up to 1/4 cup potato starch (as needed) ¼–⅓ cup water, added gradually ½ tsp salt Spicy garlic sauce 3 tbsp hot olive oil 2 spring onions, finely chopped 1–2 tsp chilli flakes 1 fresh chilli, finely chopped 1 tbsp sesame seeds 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped or grated 2 tbsp soy sauce ½–1 tsp sugar, optional 1 tbsp chili oil Method Cook the potatoes: Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Boil in salted water until very soft, about 15–20 minutes. Drain well. Make the potato dough: While the potatoes are still warm, mash them until completely smooth. Add potato starch and water. Mix and knead until you have a soft, smooth dough. Adjust the dough: If the dough is dry or cracks when you shape it, add water 1 tablespoon at a time. If it’s too sticky, add a little more potato starch. Shape the noodles: Divide the dough into balls. Cook the noodles: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the potato noodles and cook until they become slightly translucent and float to the surface. Continue cooking for another 1–2 minutes, then drain. Transfer into cold water. Make the sauce: While the noodles cook, add the spring onions, chilli flakes, fresh chilli, sesame seeds, garlic, soy sauce, and optional sugar to a bowl. Add in hot oil, Mix well Combine: Add the hot, drained potato noodles directly to the sauce. Toss thoroughly until all the noodles are coated. Serve: Top with extra spring onions, sesame seeds and chilli flakes if desired. Serve immediately while hot. #DinnerIdeas #potatonoodle #EasyRecipes #cooking #recipes" has 2,934,181 views, 72,225 likes, 256 comments, 9,358 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
