@allrecipes's TikTok video "Regular roasted squash? Nah, we'll take squash fries instead. 🎃🍟 Crispy Parmesan Butternut Squash Fries pair sweet, tender squash with a golden Parmesan crust and a touch of smoked paprika. 😋 A sprinkle of parsley and flaky sea salt finishes this savory appetizer or easy fall side dish. 🍂 Keep reading or tap the link in our bio for full recipe details! ⤴️ Ingredients: 1/2 large butternut squash 1 tablespoon avocado oil, or more as needed 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika 3/8 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 5 ounces freshly grated Parmesan cheese Flaky sea salt, for finishing Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish Directions: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly oil a large baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Peel and remove the seeds from the butternut squash. Cut squash into evenly sized fries, about 1/3-inch thick and pat very dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Add squash fries to a large bowl and toss with avocado oil until lightly coated. Combine cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle over squash fries and toss until evenly coated. Place freshly grated Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish. Gently press each squash fry into Parmesan cheese, turning to coat all sides. Arrange fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Bake in the preheated oven until crispy, 18 to 20 minutes. Carefully flip fries and continue baking until golden and tender, 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and finish with fresh chopped parsley and flaky sea salt. 🎥: Maggie Mae @maeshomesweethome #squash #fries #snacks #appetizers #fall" has 7,477 views, 247 likes, 1 comments, 49 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
