Video insights
@jaaliyahs's TikTok video "Some of y’all have been using my mac & cheese recipe for YEARS & it just keeps getting better & better😮💨😍 RECIPE: 1 pound pasta noodles of your choice (I used cavatappi) In a large pot, add a 32oz box of @Swanson Broths chicken broth & 4 cups of water. Boil your noodles on medium/high heat for 8-9 minutes or until al dente & then strain and set aside. Grate 4 8oz block cheeses of your choice: I used sharp cheddar, mozzarella, colby jack & pepper jack. Once you've grated them all, combine in a large bowl and set aside. To a saucepan add 1/2 stick @Kerrygold USA unsalted butter & 1 tbsp minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes before adding 2 tbsp all purpose flour and combining until a roux forms. Add 1 container of heavy cream & 112oz can @Nestlé evaporated milk and whisk well. Then add 1/4 cup sour cream & 1/2 8oz block @Philly Cream Cheese cream cheese and whisk again until smooth. Add seasonings of choice, I used 1 tsp each: Garlic powder Onion powder Italian seasoning Complete seasoning Ground mustard Paprika White pepper Black pepper Paprika Nature’s seasoning Combine well and then add 2 HANDFULS of your grated cheeses to the sauce. Whisk until smooth and well incorporated. Add your strained noodles to a large bowl along with your cheese sauce and another HANDFUL of grated cheese. Mix well until the cheese is melted and combined. To a baking dish add half of your mac & cheese to the bottom, a layer of grated cheese, then top with the remaining mac and the left over grated cheese. Sprinkle paprika on top as well & bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, broiling for the last 5 minutes (watching carefully that the top doesn't burn). Once baked, I topped mine with fresh chopped parsley and waited 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy! #macaroni #macandcheese #thanksgivingdinner #fyp #cookwithme" has 37,754 views, 4,197 likes, 32 comments, 295 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
