@jack_ofalljourneys's TikTok video "India’s British Town 🤯🇬🇧 Obviously it’s no real mystery why it looks like this, back during the British empire Shimla was built as the summer capital of India - So essentially all the administrative folk could escape the gruelling summer heat - I can tell you first hand its ruthless. But Honestly as someone from the Uk, it feels really bizarre walking around it because whilst some things do feel very familiar, it feels like an alternate reality - I don’t tend to have Macaques trying to steal my samosa at home. 📍Shimla, Himachal Pradesh - India 🇮🇳 #indiatravel #india #shimla #britishempire" has 69,417 views, 3,707 likes, 75 comments, 214 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
