cheesy garlic pigs in a blanket dough (can u crescent dough too): 1 cup (240g) warm milk 2 1/4 tsp (7g) instant yeast packet 1 tbsp (15g) white sugar 1 egg, room temp 4 tbsp (60g) unsalted butter, soft 3 cups (380g) ap flour 1 tsp (6g) salt mini cocktail hotdogs mozz cheese *add the warm milk, yeast, and a bit of the sugar in a large bowl and then let sit a few min until foamy (technically dont need to but better just in case it isnt "alive"). then add in the rest of the sugar, egg, and butter. mix well then add in the flour and salt. knead for 8-10 min or until its smooth and passes the window test. cover and let rest in a warm place for about an hour or until its doubled in size. once it rose, punch down and roll into a large rectangle. cut in long triangle type pieces and then place a cocktail hotdog on the end and roll up tightly. place on a baking pan with the seam-side down on top of some shredded parm and mozz cheese. this is for the cheesy crispy bottom! let rest for about 30 min or until its a bit puffy. brush with an egg wash and half of the garlic butter (ps: to avoid cross contamination, take some garlic butter out first in another little bowl). bake at 375 for 15-18 min until nice and golden brown. brush with more garlic butter while its still hot and flakey salt! garlic butter: 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melt 4 cloves minced garlic 1/4 cup (15g) fresh parsley pinch of salt + flakey salt on top. *mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, and salt. set aside half in a bowl and save this for after baking. other bowl will be before baking (to prevent cross contamination with raw stuff) #cheesy #garlic #pigsinablanket — @emijuju TikTok
