Video insights

@fodayosman's TikTok video "Two communities, Krootown Road and Kossoh Town, were reportedly fighting. The police arrived to separate them, restore order and bring peace. But during the intervention, shots were fired into the air. And then the unthinkable happened. A woman who was not fighting, not causing trouble, not threatening anyone — a woman who was simply at her stall, trying to earn a living — lost her life after a bullet came down. She was an innocent bystander. How can an operation meant to bring peace end with an innocent woman dead? The role of the police should be to protect lives, prevent violence, calm situations and keep communities safe. So when an innocent person dies during a police intervention, serious questions must be asked. Who will answer for her death? Who will take responsibility? Who will explain to her family why she never came home? And what will be done to make sure this never happens again? This woman must not become just another statistic. Her life mattered. Her family deserves answers. The community deserves transparency. And the public deserves policing that protects life — not actions that put innocent people in danger. Is this what public protection is supposed to look like? Justice means accountability. And accountability begins with asking the questions nobody should be afraid to answer. #Justice #Accountability #PoliceResponsibility #ProtectLives #SierraLeone" has 3,537 views, 159 likes, 18 comments, 27 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
