Video insights

@fodayosman's TikTok video "I was at Plyce Shopping Centre in Abidjan, and what struck me was not just the shops — it was the planning. Clean spaces. Order. Beautiful storefronts. Modern design. An environment that feels organized and built with a vision. And I kept asking myself: why can’t we create something like this in Sierra Leone? Think about Lumley. Think about Victoria Park. Think about the potential we have. Development cannot mean simply building more structures. We need to start thinking about modern infrastructure, urban planning, architecture and connectivity. Why can’t we have well-designed commercial areas? Why can’t we build better road networks, bridges and alternative routes connecting different parts of Freetown and the Peninsula? We should preserve our identity, absolutely. But being African does not mean we cannot build modern, beautiful and functional cities. Sierra Leone deserves more than construction. It deserves vision. 🇸🇱 What do you think? Are we thinking big enough about the future of our country? #SierraLeone #Freetown #Development #Infrastructure #UrbanDevelopment" has 11,313 views, 578 likes, 46 comments, 66 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
