Video insights

@plantwave's TikTok video "Mesquite music 🌳🎶 You’re hearing a mesquite tree playing musical instruments using a PlantWave device, at sunset on the Kona coast. Look at what it is growing out of. That is bare lava with almost no soil in it. In Hawaii this tree is called kiawe, and it is not from here. As far as anyone can tell, every one of them on these islands came from a single tree. One seedling, planted in Honolulu in 1828. It holds ground like this by going down instead of out, following cracks toward water further than almost any tree. #mesquite #hawaii #naturesounds #plantmusic #natureaesthetic" has 23,774 views, 1,080 likes, 60 comments, 63 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
