Video insights

@heidi.may.hikes's TikTok video "**Most of this off-route, unmaintained trail is currently closed due to fires 😭 🏔️ I love days like this. Days where I get to test my skills, challenge my body, explore new places, and spend hours completely alone in the backcountry. Anytime you’re heading into remote areas, do your research, tell someone where you’re going, know your limits, carry a satellite device, emergency medical kit and pack as if you may need to spend the night out there unexpectedly. Too often I see people heading into the backcountry unprepared, and it genuinely worries me. I used to be that person too. No shame AT ALL in being less experienced! We all start somewhere. Knowledge is power, and out there it can absolutely save your tail 🫶🏼 #mountrainier #Hiking #washingtonhikes #pnw" has 2,560 views, 336 likes, 44 comments, 2 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
