Video insights

@chaplinfamilylifeinspain's TikTok video "I Didn’t Expect This When My Kids Started School in Spain 🇪🇸 Before we moved, people warned me, but I didn’t believe them - now, after a year in a Spanish public school, my kids are forgetting how to spell and write in English! They’re learning Catalan and Castellano every day, and because Spanish is phonetic (written exactly as it sounds), English spelling has taken a backseat. We speak English at home, but they only have a few English lessons a week at school, so we're looking into extra support to keep their writing skills up. A challenge I didn’t anticipate, but definitely one we can work on!
