And honestly, just getting through the entrance is an experience hahaha. 🚣‍♂️ You start by hopping into a tiny wooden rowboat, and then you literally have to LIE DOWN while your boatman pulls you through this insanely narrow opening in the rocks. For a few seconds, you're surrounded by darkness… Until all of a sudden… 💙 THE WHOLE CAVE LIGHTS UP BRIGHT BLUE. The water actually GLOWS!! And the most insane thing about it? There's absolutely nothing artificial about it. Sunlight passes through an opening beneath the water, filling the entire cave with this crazy beautiful blue glow. And as if that wasn't already enough… 🎶 THE ITALIAN BOATMEN BEGIN TO SING. You can hear their voices bouncing off the cave walls while your little boat floats across the glowing water. I swear, the whole thing felt like a scene straight out of a movie 🥹 🌊 Quick Capri travel tip: The Blue Grotto is only accessible when the sea is calm enough, so try to keep your schedule flexible. You won't spend long inside, but it's genuinely an experience you won't forget!!
