Video insights

@updatenews03's TikTok video "How long must people suffer just to reach a hospital? A heartbreaking video from Nalgad Municipality–10 in Jajarkot, Nepal, shows local residents carrying a sick person through difficult terrain to reach medical care. After 35 years of development, such scenes raise painful questions about the condition of rural healthcare and road infrastructure. For many residents, accessing a hospital remains a struggle when every minute can matter in a medical emergency. Behind these images are families living with fear, helplessness and uncertainty—people who deserve safe roads, accessible healthcare and timely medical treatment, not another exhausting journey in search of help. Development means little if people still struggle to reach a hospital when their loved ones need it most. 🙏 Rural communities deserve better roads, better healthcare and a future where no family has to endure such hardship to save a life.
