Video insights

@vegan.f.t.a's TikTok video "The cost of “bacon” is so much more than we could ever imagine. 😔💔 “Inside a pig breeding facility in Quebec, Canada, hundreds of sows are confined in narrow metal gestation and farrowing crates in spaces barely larger than their bodies. The animals live entirely indoors under artificial light with no access to natural elements or opportunities for social interaction. According to the photojournalist, the barns were loud with machinery noise and thick with heat and ammonia. Many sows exhibited repetitive stress behaviours and showed visible signs of illness and injury, their bodies marked by sores from contact with metal bars and from standing for long periods on hard slatted floors. Dead piglets and decomposing pig carcasses were documented on the property.” - Julie P / We Animals Media Credits: Julie P | William Cote | We Animals Media #vegan #animalrights #agriculture #farming #pigs" has 3,727 views, 676 likes, 85 comments, 72 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
