A couple highlights included: 1. all of the amazing people I met while I was out there; sadly I didn’t have pics with so many who aren’t in the deck! But I appreciate all of you 2. The love and pride locals have for their country. This transpired through the conversations, moments and time spent together 3. It’s similar to other global hub cities in the Gulf. And by similar I am referring to the facilities this place has 4. Food totally blew me away. Whether it’s Kuwaiti food or the international recipes brought over here that have been mastered, I’ve got a couple kilos and pounds extra after this feast 5. The hospitality is incredible. People are willing to help you with directions, show you a nice experience, and welcome you into their homes. It was nothing short of an honor for the various moments like Diwaniye and evenings together 6. Ability to find amazing cafes and coworking spaces to work out of. As someone who’s been traveling for 7+ years, finding a country that I can lock in and get some online work done in a comfy space is huge I’m sure I’ll be back at some point, as every Kuwaiti has said that the desert in the winter is the only true way to have fully seen Kuwait. So it’s high on my list. Lastly, tons of really nice ppl reached out and welcomed me.
