@chinaminutes's TikTok video "US President Donald Trump’s new White House Press Secretary, Katie Zacharia, responded “when I moved to China” after being asked where she had passed the bar exam. Zacharia lived in Beijing from 2011 to 2013, where she worked at Chinese law firm Zhong Lun on international legal matters. Foreign nationals are not permitted to take China’s bar exam, while the State Bar of California told US media it had no record of her holding a licence. Zacharia has since confirmed that she did not pass the California bar exam and never retook it. She also explained that she had misheard the reporter’s question due to the noise from Marine One. “I assumed the question was, ‘Where were you after law school?’” she said, adding, “That’s all I could hear over the sound of Marine One.” #donaldtrump #whitehousepresssecretary #katiezacharia #viralmoments #china" has 2,022,551 views, 69,740 likes, 947 comments, 8,462 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
