If you’re planning a trip to the Dolomites, hiking Tre Cime di Lavaredo NEEDS to be on your list! ⛰️🇮🇹. Save for later! I can’t recommend this hike enough. The views are absolutely unreal, and it’s easily one of those experiences I’d do all over again. Here’s what you should know before you go: 🥾 Distance: Roughly 6 miles round trip ⏱️ Time: Plan for about 6.5 hours, including stops for photos, food, and just taking in the views. ⛰️ Elevation gain: Approximately 1,100–1,500 feet 🔄 Direction: I HIGHLY recommend hiking counterclockwise! You’ll avoid having to descend some of the really steep, rocky sections, which can be pretty intimidating. ⚠️ Difficulty: Moderate to challenging in sections. Some stretches are steep, uneven, and rocky, and the rocks can get slippery. Definitely wear shoes with good traction! My biggest advice? Don’t rush this hike. Give yourself plenty of time to stop, take photos, and actually enjoy where you are. The scenery is incredible from start to finish.
