@dailymailuk's TikTok video "Activists took chainsaws to conduct an ‘open rescue’ at a dog breeding site that sends puppies off for animal testing in the UK. MBR Acres is a highly controversial site that has come under public scrutiny in recent years, for breeding beagle puppies and sending them off for animal testing in the UK. Whistleblowers argue the puppies are left alone over the weekends for up to 20 hours a day. Camp Beagle activists, who have a 24 hour protest outside the breeding site, say living conditions for the dogs is inhumane, most never seeing daylight. MBR has always denied allegations of wrongdoing or breach of animal welfare legislation. On September 29, activists broke into the site and extracted three puppies. Since then, Camp Beagle was cordoned off by Cambridgeshire Police who are investigating ‘burglary’ and ‘conspiracy to burgle’. However, whistleblowers called the ‘burglary’ an ‘open rescue’ from a ‘hell-hole’ site. Animal rights activist Bee Vegan was arrested in connection to the incident, as well as John Curtin, who a known figure at Camp Beagle and has dedicated his life to the cause of ending animal testing." has 46,213 views, 5,306 likes, 339 comments, 361 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
