@bransonareabreakingnews's TikTok video "18-Foot Rainbow Trout Caught in Lake Taneycomo Turned Into Thousands of Sushi Rolls A massive 18-foot rainbow trout weighing an estimated 2,400 pounds became the centerpiece of an extraordinary community feast near Branson, Missouri. The enormous fish was caught Monday morning by a group of local fishermen on Lake Taneycomo. After a nearly three-hour struggle, several additional boats were brought in to help guide the trout to shore, where a heavy-duty flatbed trailer was needed to transport it. Rather than preserving the giant fish for display, the fishermen decided to turn their catch into a community meal. Local cooks spent hours cleaning and preparing the trout, producing more than 3,000 sushi rolls along with hundreds of portions of grilled fish for residents and visitors. The enormous catch has sparked speculation about what else might be swimming in the deeper waters of Lake Taneycomo, with some fishermen believing even larger trout could still be hiding beneath the surface." has 62,211 views, 1,374 likes, 120 comments, 816 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
