Video insights

@channelnewsasia's TikTok video "More than 100 foreign trekkers were stranded in Nepal's Gorkha district after flash floods along the Budhi Gandaki River swept away bridges and hiking trails. The flooding was triggered by a landslide on Sunday (Oct 11) that blocked the river, sending powerful floodwaters downstream. Footage showed the Soti Khola bridge buckling under the force of the torrent before being swept away. Authorities said on Monday that 96 people, including nine foreigners, had been rescued, with operations continuing despite receding floodwaters. While no casualties have been reported, five villagers are reportedly still uncontactable. #nepal #nepalnews #floods" has 29,160 views, 553 likes, 11 comments, 63 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
