@ash_dykes's TikTok video "After all the delays, we finally launched the kayaks from Nola and began our journey along the Sangha River! We said goodbye to Mebah, welcomed Obed to the team and headed deep into the Congo Basin, passing remote communities, battling intense heat and spending our first night at an abandoned hunting camp. After reaching Bayanga, we had the incredible privilege of spending time with the Ba’Aka people, learning about their deep knowledge of the rainforest, traditional hunting practices and the food they depend on to survive. An unforgettable first few days, and still so much of this journey ahead of us. Project 6 is officially underway! 🌍" has 1,652,465 views, 47,786 likes, 542 comments, 429 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
