Video insights

@addoriginals's TikTok video "Swipe ⬅️ More than $500,000 has been raised for charity through Phil Heckles’s charmingly wonky pet portraits. 🐶✍️ Phil Heckles, known online as Hercule Van Wolfwinkle, started doodling pets in 2020 just for fun. But his scribbly sketches of dogs, cats, and budgies quickly went viral. It all began when he posted a playful drawing of his own dog on Facebook, joking about taking fake commissions. To his surprise, real requests and generous donations poured in. His trademark crooked eyes and quirky proportions have since earned him fans worldwide, two published books, and recognition for his fundraising. Every penny goes to Turning Tides, a homelessness charity, and StreetVet, which supports pets of people experiencing homelessness. He even left his commercial property job to focus on his art full-time.
