Video insights

@makescentswithdenise's TikTok video "we just explored the lodge itself. The main feature is this huge, cozy lounge with a fireplace that's perfect for relaxing. A cool fact is that you're literally surrounded by nearby trails for hiking. Of course, you also have to just enjoy the fresh pine air from your balcony. We loved the stunning mountain views, but my personal take is that it's the quiet that really makes it special. For a late-night snack, we went to their 24-hour café. The vibe was so chill and convenient, and I'd definitely recommend grabbing a coffee and just soaking it all in. We highly recommend The Retreat on Charleston Peak for a quick getaway. We absolutely loved it and it's perfect if you're looking to escape the city, enjoy some nature, and just unwind.
