Video insights

@overthereclub's TikTok video "A Fly in the Pink is a 1971 animated comedy short film from the Pink Panther series, directed by Hawley Pratt and released by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises. The plot follows the Pink Panther as a peaceful fruit farmer whose orchard is invaded by a mutated, hyper-destructive, apple-obsessed fruit fly that escaped from a government research laboratory. The remainder of the 7-minute short features classic slapstick gags as the Panther tries and fails to defeat the super-fly using a 200-pound weight, flypaper, and karate. Ultimately, the Panther traps the pest inside a fruit almanac and drops it in a mailbox, but the insect breaks free and flies away, carrying the entire mailbox into the sky. #pinkpanther #cartoon #nostalgia #childhood #explore" has 57,463 views, 3,641 likes, 36 comments, 254 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
