Video insights
@minilanikai's TikTok video "My ranking of the French Polynesian islands I’ve visited: 🥇 Bora Bora : My favorite. It has everything: incredible snorkeling, manta rays, a beautiful turquoise lagoon, amazing hikes, Matira Beach, amazing boat trips, motus and of course the postcard views. I honestly expected it to be much more crowded but I loved it. 🥈 Taha’a + Raiatea :I’m putting these two together because they’re right next to each other and both are so underrated. Taha’a has one of the most beautiful lagoons I’ve seen, amazing snorkeling and incredible motus. Raiatea has beautiful mountains, a more local and cultural atmosphere, a stunning lagoon and some really beautiful snorkeling spots and motus. 🥉 Tahiti :I think Tahiti is seriously underrated. It’s huge, wild and much more diverse than people expect, with incredible hikes, black and white sand beaches and lots of things to do. You can even swim with whales for less than on Moorea. The only downside for me is that it feels more urban and busy. 4️⃣ Maupiti :Tiny, beautiful and extremely peaceful. There’s an amazing hike and a beautiful motu/boat tour, but there isn’t a huge amount to do, so I think two days is enough. The snorkeling wasn’t anything crazy for me apart from the manta rays. 5️⃣ Moorea : Absolutely beautiful, with turquoise beaches, great hikes, activities and a really nice atmosphere. But personally, I was disappointed by the reef and snorkeling compared to the other islands. 6️⃣ Huahine :Small, pretty and peaceful, with some lovely beaches. But there isn’t a huge amount to do, and I didn’t find the mountains or hiking particularly impressive, so I felt like I could see most of the island quite quickly. I had an amazing time on every single island it was just really hard to rank them because they’re all so different. 🌺#frenchpolynesia #traveladvice #nature #islands #boattours" has 14,671 views, 1,452 likes, 9 comments, 122 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
