🍷 MUST VISIT WINERY IN SANTORINI 🇬🇷 I’m not even gonna lie, I was a little skeptical about visiting Santo Wines. It’s gotten pretty popular, so I thought it might be one of those beautiful views, touristy, overpriced & mid food situations 😅 I was SO wrong. This ended up being our favorite meal of the entire trip. We stopped here during our cruise day in Santorini and instead of just doing a tasting, we booked lunch so we could sit in their dining area on the lower level right by that insane view. And the view aloneee… stunningg. 😍 We still did a €25 wine tasting and got to try a few local Santorini wines with actually really good pours. Lovedddd. But the FOOD?! That’s what really surprised us. The Greek salad was obviously a must, my husband loved the oysters, but that fried feta wrapped in phyllo with tomato jam?! Out of this worlddd. That jam was increíble. 😭 For our main we shared the lamb chops and I kid you not, they were some of the softest, most tender lamb chops we’ve ever had. Dessert was amazing too and the service was just as good. Also, getting here was super easy. One thing we learned QUICK in Greece is that the public buses are your best friend lol. Cabs can get expensive and sometimes aren’t the easiest to find. We took the bus from Fira toward Akrotiri for just €2.20 and asked the driver to drop us right in front of the winery.
