Leaned his whole body against my shin, pushing me back from the "danger." Complaint. Hissed at the water itself when I reached for the curtain. 😾 I promised him I always come back. He retreated exactly as far as the bathmat and sat at attention, facing the curtain. Rescue standby. He guards every shower. Ten minutes. Every day.
