@emma.lifeinchina's TikTok video "Three years ago I quit my job as an English teacher in China with no plan B. I was scared, but I couldn't ignore the feeling in my belly that it was something I had to do. And three years later, I found myself being flown to Qufu, the home of Confucius, to be a guest and speaker at a youth cultural exchange. On stage I shared a story about Confucious, with the moral being: it's impossible to truly understand something until you've seen and experienced it for yourself. And that's how I feel about China. Every day there is something new to see and learn and do. I am so grateful for everything I am learning, about this country and about myself. I spoke on a stage. I can do hard things!! And if you’re reading this SO CAN YOU!!!" has 3,256 views, 91 likes, 9 comments, 3 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
