Video insights

@heresyourbite's TikTok video "Chicken Pot Pie Pastina with Puff Pastry Croutons🍂🥧 Chicken pot pie, meet pastina. This is basically all the cozy, nostalgic flavors of a classic chicken pot pie, but turned into a creamy bowl of tiny pasta. We’ve got tender chicken, carrots, celery, peas, plenty of thyme, and a rich, savory broth that thickens as the pastina cooks until everything becomes silky, creamy, and almost pot pie filling-like. And because you simply cannot have chicken pot pie without the pie, little golden puff pastry “croutons” get piled right on top. They’re buttery, flaky, deeply golden, and honestly the part that brings the whole thing together. I finish them with a little Parmesan and fresh thyme while they’re still warm, then add them right before serving so they stay crisp against the creamy pastina underneath.
