I also contacted several pet food brands because she struggled to gain weight due to her condition. @Royal Canin Deutschland recommended Active Life Outdoor, and she has been doing extremely well on it — she finally gained healthy weight. About Choco: Choco also carries his battle scars. One Saturday he came home and let out a painful, unforgettable meow. You could barely touch him. I rushed him to the emergency animal clinic, where they discovered that his bladder was full of "crystals" and he could no longer urinate. He had to stay there for several days and receive treatment. Since then, he has been on a recommended Royal Canin food from the Care – Urinary line. He tolerates it very well and has had no issues ever since. Again, this is NOT an advertisement.
