The Minister of Interior just released an official statement on the passport intervention… — @sassyfunke

Video insights

@sassyfunke's TikTok video "The Minister of Interior just released an official statement on the passport intervention fees, saying there's no extra cost beyond the standard $150/$230 passport fees. Worth noting: the statement explicitly says neither the Ministry of Interior nor NIS has introduced any charges beyond those official fees. So if there is a gap, it may be coming from the High Commission's side, not the Ministry or NIS itself. Swipe through: here's exactly what the statement says, and here's what the booking portal actually shows. These two things don't obviously line up, and I'm not going to pretend they do. I'd rather flag the gap honestly than tell you something's settled when it isn't. Comment "FEES" and I'll send you both sources directly, with links. Follow so you don't miss the update when there's real clarity. #NigerianPassport #NIS #PassportInterventionExercise2026 #NigeriansInUK" has 973 views, 14 likes, 2 comments, 2 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
