Video insights
@mermaidphantom's TikTok video "The shocking truth about the Navy Pier mermaid (at least some of them). There has been a lot of talk in the past year about real mermaids being spotted in Lake Michigan, mostly around the Navy Pier area. While not all of these mermaid sightings show the same footage, a good chunk of them have been showing footage of a red mermaid splashing her tail out of the water in the middle of Lake Michigan. Others have also shown footage of a mermaid with a silver, purple and black fin splashing next to a breakwall at night... AKA me. Both of them. Lol. I do not approve of these videos and do not find my image being used to fool the masses to be flattering. It's actually very frustrating and I've been meaning to talk about it for a while now. If you can't find some of the videos I am referring to- that's good! I have reported quite a few of them and will likely report more. 😅🖤 So here's the truth. Please help me pass it around so we can get the truth about this situation out there. #themagiccrafter #mermaid #navypier #lakemichiganmermaid #professionalmermaid" has 96,515 views, 3,918 likes, 97 comments, 90 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
