Your specialists believed you still had years with us. Then everything changed so suddenly. Early Sunday morning, you struggled to breathe, and I rushed you to the emergency vet. They immediately placed you into oxygen. At 11:45 AM, you went into cardiac arrest, and by 1:06 PM, we had to let you cross the rainbow bridge. The emergency vet believes your chordae tendineae may have ruptured, something rare and unexpected. This loss was completely unexpected, and my heart is shattered.
