Video insights

@averagebutinspired's TikTok video "Tufting is the most fun. 🤩 I used the @CLAWLAB tufting gun and starter kit (gifted) to make my first tufted rug project. I can’t believe it! This is one of those crafts where you get in the zone. It was really relaxing! A few things I noted: 1. Their beginner instructions were a little sparse. Be prepared to add trial and error time to figure this out. 2. The kit did not come with the glues (bonding glue or spray adhesive), so that’s an extra expense. Also, you could use school glue to bind the back- you don’t have to use the melting glue I did. I just wanted to make sure it would withstand foot traffic. 3. You don’t have to use a shaver like I did- you could trim the front with scissors. What should I make next: tufted pillow cover, tufted keychain, tufted coaster, or something else? Tell me in the comments! And tell me what you think of my new rug that I made! #tufting #tuftingrugs #beginnertufting" has 10,227 views, 193 likes, 28 comments, 9 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
