Video insights

@budget_bytes's TikTok video "We had to try the viral doner-style gyro meat everyone’s been talking about—and honestly? Two thumbs WAY up. 👍👍 This trend blew up because it delivers that classic gyro flavor without a spit, specialty equipment, or pricey cuts of meat. Instead, it uses simple pantry spices and ground beef, pressed thin, baked, and broiled for those crispy, craggly edges we all love. 🤤 Here’s how we made it: 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 onion, grated 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp dried thyme 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp onion powder Mix all ingredients. Divide in half, then roll thin between 2 pieces of parchment. Cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, unwrap, tear the meat into pieces, then broil for 3 minutes. Load up a pita with the meat, your favorite toppings, and our Tzatziki sauce! Viral and budget-friendly? That’s a win in our book. 🥙✨Would you try this one at home? #budgetbytes #donerkebab #viralfood #gyro #beefrecipes" has 150,760 views, 3,369 likes, 45 comments, 1,641 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
