Video insights

@5h1ttybuilds's TikTok video "Nuclear Fusion Explained in Minecraft A few more details: They’re not atoms being fused, they’re isotopes of Hydrogen; Deuterium and Tritium. Isotopes are like normal atoms but have different amounts of Neutrons The nuclei naturally repel each other cause they’re positively charged (and like charges repel). When the nuclei are close enough together the Strong Nuclear Force (which bind Protons and Neutrons) can over-power the Electromagnetic repulsion and fuse the two Hydrogen nuclei. The nuclei fuse into Helium-4 and release a Neutron. We absorb the Neutron, which converts most of its mass into heat energy. We use this heat to (most likely) turn water into steam and use that steam to turn a turbine creating electricity. The reactors use two sets of strong magnetic fields. The magnetic fields are 280,000 times the Earth's. This is based on the Tokamak fusion reactor. #Minecraft #minecraftbuilding #learnontiktok #Science" has 89,864 views, 10,204 likes, 97 comments, 28 shares in the public metrics captured by this index.
