Video-Einblicke
Das TikTok-Video „katsu curry! my comfort food :) japanese curry: 1 1/2-2lbs chuck roast (chopped, and lightly tossed in flour) 2 onions 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp ginger, minced 1 tbsp butter 1 celery stalk 1 russet potato 2 carrots 1/4 cup mushrooms 1 tbsp honey (or grated apple or mirin or all!) 3-4 cups beef stock (low sodium) 1 bay leaf 1 tsp dashi (liquid or powder) 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 pack of japanese curry roux 2 tsp of S&B curry powder (only if u have) *season the meat with salt and pepper and then toss in some flour. brown in a big pot in batches then take out and add in the butter sliced onions, garlic, ginger, and celery. once its aromatic, add in the beef stock, dashi, bay leaf, soy sauce, and mirin/honey. add the meat back in and 1 cup of water, and then let this simmer on the stove for at least 3 hrs for best flavor. when theres around 30 min left on the time, add in the potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms. once the timer is done, make sure temp is med-low, and add in the curry roux (or make your own for gluten free), and the curry powder. from here i like to season to taste by adding things like: minced ginger, dashi, mirin, soy sauce, curry, etc. the curry will thicken from the roux so keep an eye on it and mix to prevent any burning on the bottom. katsu: 3-4 medium pork loins (can also use chicken breast!) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp ground ginger salt and pepper 3/4 cup japanese panko 2 eggs 2-3 tbsp flour enough oil in pan so its at least 1.5 inches high *season chicken or pork in garlic powder, ground ginger, salt and pepper. set up your station with flour (seasoned w salt and pepper), then eggs, then panko. shallow fry or deep fry, until golden brown :) #katsu #curry #cooking #food #easyrecipetiktokcontest“ von @emijuju kommt laut den von diesem Index erfassten öffentlichen Kennzahlen auf 73.808 Aufrufe, 9.456 Likes, 57 Kommentare, 581 Shares.
