Heat the ghee in a pot and sauté the onion, ginger and garlic until fragrant. 2. Add the beef and brown slightly. 3. Add your spices and herbs, stirring until fragrant. 4. Add all the chopped vegetables and orzo. 5. Pour in the stock and enough water to cover everything. 6. Simmer until the orzo is extra soft, roughly 15 minutes. You want it softer than al dente! Cook longer if needed until the beef is tender enough to shred. 7. Remove the bay leaf, sage leaf and any bones. Shred the beef finely using two forks and lightly mash the peas and vegetables before serving. For younger babies or those who prefer smoother textures: Add a little extra water or breastmilk and blend to your desired consistency.
