Use a slotted spoon to transfer it to a blender & blend until smooth. (Add some stock or water if needed) - Add the pasta to the pumpkin water with salt and cook. - While pasta is cooking add oil to skillet over medium heat…once oil is heated add the onion and sausage. Break sausage apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until sausage is browned. - Add garlic and sage - stirring for 1 minute - Add the chicken stock and deglaze the pan.
