I would say the burgers were definitely one of the best we’ve tried if not the best ever even though it got a bit cold by the time we ate it. Also their customer service was the best ever. The man at the cashier was the most patient, kind and helpful person I’ve ever seen in NYC even though I was asking a lot of annoying questions. (I swear he had no idea about our social media presence. I think he thought we were crazy tourists from Korea or something 😂) We tried their most popular fried onion burger, double of course, fries with cheese sauce, vanilla egg cream milk and chocolate chip cookie. The patty was so juicy and tender… Kind of reminded me of Shake Shack patty but better without the greasiness or heaviness. Fries were ok, not too crispy but tasted clean like homemade. I was very happy about their gluten-free bun option too. I read this spot was started by burger scholar George Motz who made a Jame Beard winning documentary on burgers of America.
