First: walk the Brooklyn Bridge at sunrise 🌅 I wish I knew this sooner. It’s quieter, the light is beautiful and you get a much better chance of actually enjoying the bridge without constantly dodging people. And when you’re here, you’ve got to stop at this spot for that Brooklyn Bridge photo 📸 Then head up these steps, through here and you’ll get an amazing view over Manhattan. And finish here — there are even free toilets in here, btw 😂 The best bit? That view costs absolutely nothing. Next: don’t automatically queue for Joe’s Pizza near Times Square 🍕 The pizza is well nice, don't get me wrong. But the queue can be ridiculous. Instead, make a little trip to the original Joe’s Pizza in Greenwich Village. You get to explore a completely different part of NYC, and you’ll usually spend a lot less time standing in a queue. And finally: Little Charlie Hotel 🗽 I wish I knew about this place before my trip. The location is ideal — you step outside and it genuinely feels like you’re in a New York film. And for how cheap the rooms can be, the size is actually pretty decent. Definitely one to look at if you’re trying to keep your NYC accommodation costs down. So if you’re planning a New York itinerary, save this because it’s the little things like this that can make a massive difference.
