One of our favorite beaches in St. Johns County, Florida, and it’s easy to see why! If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful beach along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, Mickler’s Beach in Ponte Vedra Beach is one of those places you’ll want to add to your list! Located along scenic A1A, just north of St. Augustine, Mickler’s Beach is one of our favorite places to escape for a few hours, enjoy the ocean breeze, and recharge. Here’s why we love it so much! Beautiful Beach Walks: Mickler’s Beach is perfect for long walks along the shoreline. Head away from the main beach entrance, and you’ll often find quieter stretches of sand where you can enjoy the sounds of the ocean without the crowds. Shark Tooth Hunting: Keep your eyes on the sand! Mickler’s Beach is known as a great place to search for shark teeth, making every beach walk a little treasure hunt. Surfer Watching: There’s something so relaxing about watching surfers catch those beautiful Atlantic Ocean waves. Grab a spot on the sand, sit back, and enjoy the show! Easy Parking: One of the things we appreciate about Mickler’s is the paved public parking lot, making beach access convenient. Just remember that parking can fill up quickly on beautiful weekends. Swimming: Want to get in the water? Lifeguards are available near the main beach entrance during designated guarded hours. Always check current conditions and pay attention to beach safety flags. Peace and Quiet: Sometimes you don’t need a packed itinerary or a big adventure. Just the sound of crashing waves, salty ocean air, and a beautiful stretch of Florida coastline. And that’s exactly why we keep coming back! INSIDER TIP: If you’re exploring Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, or Florida’s beautiful A1A coastal highway, there’s a scenic, self-guided A1A audio tour that’s a fun way to discover more of the area at your own pace. I’ve linked the tour in the GREEN LOCATION PIN, where you can check out the details and grab it at a discount! Whether you’re planning a Northeast Florida vacation, visiting St. Augustine, staying in Ponte Vedra Beach, or just looking for another beautiful Florida beach to explore, Mickler’s Beach deserves a spot on your list.
