Once you get to the Brooklyn side, walk past here — yeah, you’re obviously stopping for a photo — head up these steps, through here and… WALLOP. You’re at Pebble Beach. It’s like this little haven tucked away by the water, with one of the best free views of the Manhattan skyline. Definitely one to save for your New York itinerary. 📍 Pebble Beach, Brooklyn Then there’s this… Now Now NoHo 🗽 I wish I knew this existed before my first solo trip to New York. Because paying New York hotel prices when you’re travelling on your own is painful. This gives you your own little space in a quality Downtown Manhattan location, without spending an absolute fortune on a massive hotel room you’re barely going to see. Yes, it’s small. But you’re never there. You’re in New York City. Go and explore. 😂 📍 Now Now NoHo, Downtown Manhattan And finally… Hani’s 🥐 I wish I knew just how good this bakery was. This is exactly the sort of place I want to find when I’m in New York. Ridiculous-looking cakes, cookies, cinnamon buns, pastries… all sorts. You walk in thinking you’ll get one thing and immediately lose all discipline. Staff were well sound too. 📍 Hani’s, East Village, NYC So if you’re planning a New York trip, definitely put these on your list. Especially if you’re doing Brooklyn Bridge, travelling solo, looking for free things to do in NYC, or just want to find some good food and slightly less obvious spots.
