On special occasions and holidays, it also projects laser beams up to kilometers away. Ill Components of the tower from the inside Clock Tower Museum: Located on the highest floors of the tower (the four upper floors), it allows visitors to learn about the history of timekeeping, lunar phases, and astronomical phenomena using advanced telescopes. Commercial centers and services: The complex includes a huge multi-level shopping mall, a world-class food court, and prayer halls that can accommodate thousands of worshippers, connected acoustically to Al-Masjid Al-Haram Hotels and residential units: It contains international hotels, led by the Fairmont Hotel ir the main tower, and includes around residential units and an elevator. Timekeeping and technology: The clock is connected to five atomic clocks to ensure ultimate accuracy, and it partly relies on solar panels to generate power. Importance and location Location: It is located only meters from King Abdulaziz Gate of Al-Masjid Al-Haram. Purpose: The project is part of the "King Abdulaziz Endowment for the Two Holy Mosques," and its proceeds are dedicated to serving the Noble Masjid al-Haram in Makkah.
