Our respected SPLM leaders, our beloved elders, community leaders, mothers and sisters, brothers and sisters of Gogrial West County, the youth, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, I warmly greet you all. First of all, I thank Almighty God for giving us life, strength, and the opportunity to come together on this important journey. It is with humility, a sincere heart, and a strong desire to contribute to the development of our people that, after careful consideration, I am pleased to officially declare my intention to contest for the position of Member of the National Assembly representing Gogrial West County, SPLM Party List. This decision has not been made simply because I want to hold a political position; it comes from my desire to serve our people, to be part of the discussions that shape our future, and to help ensure that the concerns of our communities are heard at the national level. I believe that leadership is not just about occupying an office or making promises during campaigns. It is about listening to people, understanding their problems, standing with them always, and doing whatever is possible within your responsibility to make their lives better. That is the kind of leadership I believe our people deserve. My Vision for Gogrial West County My dear people, Gogrial West County is home to hardworking, resilient, and determined people. Like many communities across South Sudan, we face challenges that require serious attention, collective effort, and responsible leadership. Our parents want their children to receive a good education. Our families need better healthcare services and access to clean drinking water. Our farmers need support to increase agricultural production. Our young people need opportunities to acquire skills, find employment, and build independent lives. Our women also deserve opportunities to participate meaningfully in leadership and development. These are the everyday concerns of our people, and they deserve to be taken seriously. I believe that our county has great potential, but we must work together to turn that potential into meaningful progress. We cannot achieve everything in a single day, and no individual can solve every problem alone. However, with commitment, cooperation, and the right priorities, we can make a positive difference. My aspiration is to become a strong and responsible voice for the people of Gogrial West County in the National Parliament. I want to contribute to the decisions that affect our lives and advocate for policies and programs that respond to the needs of our communities. My Priorities for Our People. If given the opportunity to serve, I will focus my efforts on ten key areas that I believe are important to the future of Gogrial West County. 1. Unity of Purpose Our community is stronger when we stand together. Differences in opinion, political views, or personal interests should never prevent us from working towards the common good. I will encourage unity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect among our people because development becomes much easier when we learn to work together. 2. Advancement of Agriculture Agriculture is an important source of livelihood for many of our families. We need to encourage our farmers and support efforts that can improve food production, strengthen livelihoods, and reduce food insecurity. I will advocate for better support for farmers, improved farming methods, and greater attention to agricultural development. 3. Education Every child deserves an opportunity to learn and build a better future. Education should not be a privilege reserved for a few families.
